Take advantage of our Surfboard Hire service and get a taste of what the surfing buzz is about. The very first time that you get up on your surfboard and put a rail into the face of a wave, sliding across mother natures energy, your hooked for life.

It is strongly recommended that novice and intermediate surfers join up with one of the many BSA approved Surfing schoolsrun throughout Devon and Cornwall. For more information follow our LINKS. If you want to go it alone and you are new to surfing, get some advice from a lifeguard as to surfing areas, swell and tidal conditions.


Surfboards

Surfing equipment is only hired as part of a VW Camper van rental package.

Learning the art of surfing to intermediate level can be made much easier by using a surfboard that’s easy to paddle and you’ll also have more fun learning.

Our surfboards are the soft foam type, designed for stability and safety. They’re suitable for the novice, and responsive enough for the intermediate surfer. Glass-fibre boards may also be available for the experienced surfer, please enquire

Our Boogie boards are the mid-range type, designed for plenty of fun!

Wetsuits

We have a number of wetsuits for hire for both Male & Female users. Generally, these are 3/2mm thickness designed for use from early May to late October. Depending on size, we may be able to hire winter wetsuits with boots, hoods & gloves, please enquire. Please go to Hire Costs for prices.
